We keep blaming our society’ who’s who and municipality for the social issues, we face in our daily live. But we hardly take any step to make a difference. The society very much belongs to us and we think we have least responsibilities towards the society. We feel that we do our due jobs by selecting the government and other authorities and our job ends here. But we hardly understand that the officials, who we blame for the social menaces, can not here us from our drawing rooms.

If you want to fulfill your demands to make the vicinity a better place to live, you have to make sure that your words should reach to the ears of the authority. And for that you have to attend town meetings. These meetings are essentially meant for listening to your complaints and suggestions. And in order to make sure that all the citizens can come, these meeting are generally summoned in holidays. These are those wonderful opportunities, through which we can make the municipality hear to our words, opinions, suggestions and also can make them take essential measures in these regards.

But we feel too lazy to turn up in the meetings or simple ignore them because we think that we will be hardly heard. But the fact remains we all should attend those meetings to take a further step towards the better social capital, else we have to stop blaming others when we ourselves are guilty. I am not saying you will be a winner, but at least you can boost the fact that you are the one, who took the first step forward.
